founded the office. Currently the firm has ca.

employees in the main
office in Paderborn and in subsidiaries in Berlin (Wildau),
Basel (Weil) and Moscow (in foundation).
Lohmann Architekten provides services in
all areas of planning and design to private
and public clients. The range of projects
includes mainly buildings for commercial
companies like shopping centres, retail halls,
department stores as well as buildings
for entertainment and leisure.
Because of these special fields there exists
specialized knowledge of project develop-
ment, town planning and interior design.
In this connection there is substantial experience in the field of the
revitalization and
developing of existing commercial buildings and
shopping centres available.
The planning and realization of buildings, often
located at difficult locations, represent
special challenges, which are solved with
creativity and expert knowledge.
All ranges from the feasibility study, marketing
brochure, 3-d animation to the complete
realization of the building are performed by
competent and experienced specialist
personnel.

All projects of the office are processed on CAD.
Employees use Archicad in their work.

Schedule and cost controlling
Office organisation is based on an IT-supported project scheduling system. In addition
to individual project control, the system is used for general monitoring of resources
(personnel capacities, etc.).
This is how the deadlines for the different
specialist fields are co-ordinated, arranged
and adhered to. In addition, costs are tracked
using software intended to guarantee
they remain within the respective planning phase
/ stage estimates.
